Feathered Foothill Faith
Featheredfoothill Faith
Faith was imported in utero in late 2022 from England. Her dam is Bybeck Victoria and her sire, The Reggae King. Please see her pedigree below. Her registration has finally been processed with DNA analysis completed!
Faith has been retained as a prospective broodmare and performance pony, due to her lovely conformation, low key temperament, and ease of handling.
She is the spitting image of her full sister, also seal brown in color, Harrison Winter Skye. Skye was imported at her dam’s side on the same flight and has since been relocated to Southmoore Fells in Mississippi to join a lovely herd of Fells and have a prospective future as a broodmare.
Faith picked up obstacle and liberty work at a very young age, catching on and even competing with her herd-mates Skye, Victoria and her lovely babysitter, Thornhill Keeping It Classy, a young Gypsy Cob. Classy has become the big sis, when Skye left and we love the mentoring she has done with Faith even at such a young age. They canter together, bellies touching as they go, matching paces. A lovely partnership that will lead to a spring on the big foothill across the road from our rented flat-land by the river.
Please enjoy these photos as she’s growing, her sire and dam’s photos are at the bottom of the page.
Looking forward to seeing this one bloom at Feathered Foothill and she will be my first go at training a pony from start to finish myself.
Her name says it all. No small feat to import 3-in-1. With a few bumps in the road on arrival. Victoria foaled her out with absolute ease in pasture in the night, by the time I arrived, Faith was walking and nursing and Victoria was very kind to her big sister and all humans visiting.
Faith inherited the sweet disposition her mother embodies.
Bybeck Victoria is now doing liberty, R+, saddle training with Mary Ka currently. Follow her journey here.
